Index DAt file cant be removed
Hello everyone. I had a spyware prob. , got the programs to fix and prevent (adaware, spywareblaster, spybot search) but I now have a Index DAt file in my cookies that I cant delete. Every so often I get 17 more files found by adaware. I'm assuming that I have some kind of program that is hidden and lurking and reinstalls every so often. YEt I cant find in searches anything to help me. I search here TFP and nothing came up so thats why I am asking the board. Thanks for any help you could give me ! |

| big damn hero | I've encountered this a time or two before. I absolutely hate files that I cannot delete after all, it's my damn computer, right? There's always safe mode. It usually works wonders, but sometimes this just isn't a choice. Here's an article at techtv.com that might help...

| Go Cardinals Location: St. Louis/Cincinnati | I have gotten some error message like that when I tried to delete some music song off my computer. I closed down every single program using Ctrl+Alt+Del except Explorer and it still did it.
