Print Screen. One button printing?
Please advise if we have the ability to screen print from our pc without having to cut and paste the item into word. If we do not have this ability would it be possible to obtain the program that allows this function.
WinXP pro w/network printing. That's the question from a user I support. I've crawled over the knowledge base, and I can't find a way to do that. Does anyone know if that's possible? To be honest, I don't think so...but I sure don't know everything.

You CAN, but not necessarily only though windows... One of these macro recorders might be able to do what you want, tho. You could setup a macro so that when they hit printscreen, it grabs the screen, starts paint (or word), pastes the picture, and prints it.. You also might want to add this progam: http://www.niagarasoftware.com/Produ...d_printer.html to the keyboard mapper, to allow printing directly from the cliboard. One word of warning: I've never used these personally, I've just answered this question before elsewhere.

The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." - V |

You could run the free utility that PC Magazine made called printnow http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,8418,00.asp
The only issue that I see is that I don't think that it's been tested with Winxp. I have supported this program for a few users, and the only real problem is that sometimes when you have adobe acrobat (full version), the program doesn't work properly. I'd say try it and see if it worksfor your users. |

PrtScrn...Alt-Tab... Ctrl-V really, but evidently this is too much for him to do. I doubt he knows the keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste.
