Strangest Thing....
Well, this comes as a huge blow to me. I recently wanted to format both my hard drives and do a clean install of windows. I transfered all my files I wanted to save onto one drive, and I formated the other. Then I copied all those files to the newly formated hard drive, and formated the other drive. Then I installed windows again, and copied some files to even out the space.
Well..... I am just now finding out that a lot of my video files do not contain any video information. INSTEAD, they have 12 hours or more of mp3's in them. my video files (all 143 or so MacGyver episodes, brisco county jr episodes, and porn) are all now worthless. AND my mp3's now contain the soundtrack from my video files, and even some sound files from games. This ruins years of collecting on my part.... Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I know that it is probably a lost cause, but it is just so damn weird. |

hee hee.. Yeah, I did reinstall the video codecs.. I would just get the sound of the original video if I hadn't installed the codecs. Instead, I get the sound of a completely different file on my computer. Usually MP3 files... Very strange, and very frustrating.
