monitor flickers when tv gets turned on
My monitor flickers for about half a secong every time my tv is turned on. They are both on surge protectors, but plugged into the same wall outlet. ie, the pc powerbar on the top plug, the home theatre on the bottom plug.
Should I be worried about this?

No, sounds like a little degaussing action. The same thing happens when you turn on one CRT monitor next to another.

crt's are take an enormous power hit when they turn on. Being that they are on the same circuit, this will happen. Ideally, you should run your home theater on a seperate circuit, but hey.. we all do it, or at least have at one point =)
