Fun Games
hey everyone,
I just got my laptop fixed from some virus that attacked it and juiced the ram up to about 760 something...512+256 + 2.4 ghz and integrated graphics, anyhow- I'm looking for some fun time-wasting games that are going to keep me alive for a week without an internet connection//:) |
little or big? free or pay?
If smaller and free I recommend going to www.gamehippo.com They have tons of freeware and free use shareware games to download. They have quality ratings and they're usually spot-on. |
Anything :D . no internet so flashplayer can't save me like usual, thanks for the link!
|
www.popcap.com has a lot of interesting games that you can download, or just copy the .swf from temp internet files. insaniquarium is a fun little time waster IMO.
|
Unreal tournament 2004 is a great game for single player. Arugably, the single player can be as good as the multiplayer :D

if you haven't played it, baldurs gate 2.
|
What Pellaz said... and if you like rpgs, give the original Baldur's Gate a try. It's five or six years old and that shows in the graphics and interface, but it's still the best pc game ever, imho.
|
If you can find a copy of it, Pandora's box is a good puzzle game.
Over 400 puzzles from the creator of tetris. Probly find it at wal-mart, heh. |
**cough** Roms **cough***
Did you guys hear something? |
The original Doom always kept my attention. Easy to get into and you don't need a souped up PC to run it.
|
Shouldn't this be in the Tilted Games forum? :)
I'm like scott2162.. I love the classics. A bit of Doom/Duke3D/Keen hehe. The "most current" game I play is probably Unreal Tournament (GOTY edition) or Postal 2. |
Civilization III....it's older, but you can spend a good couple of days on it.
