How to copy an address book in Outlook express w/ folders...
Anyone know how? Sure, you can export an address book (I think windows calls this a WAB or something), but if you store your contacts in "folders" (different than groups) to keep them organized, you won't be able to import them back--say, on a new machine.
I don't like outlook express, but that's what I have to deal with at work, so thats what I'm gonna deal with. Anyone know how to get it done? You'll make my life much easier--maybe my girlfriend will bake you some cookies... |
if there is one user on the pc do a search for inbox.dbx when found open the folder its in.
you should find a few more dbx files these should be your folders etc. copy these, then replace as and where required. if your not sure about what im saying dont doit get more advice etc before fukin it all up!! |
Jonah is correct, you basically just copy and paste the .dbx files. You should export/import the address book too. Here's the full guide from microsoft..
