Webpages not refreshing

I'm not exactly sure how to explain this...

Some webpages that change daily haven't changed for me in 2 weeks. Pages like Yahoo and my Road Runner home page. They'er stuck somewhere around April 15th.

What could be causing this? And how can I fix it?

Thanks for the help!

it means that the pages are cached in your temporary internet files... ususally hitting refresh (or F5) will clear them and reload. Otherwise you may have to clear your temporary Internet files

Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> delete files

if you're in IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > General Tab - Temporary Internet Files > Settings > then make sure "check for newer versions of stored pages is set to "automatically". then click "OK".

Isn't that kind of the point of Tilted Computers?

All of the tech support questions are asked here, and it's one of the major reasons this forum keeps going.

Without the questions, there'd be about 10 posts a day probably, give or take.

Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!"

I haven't had much activity here lately, but I'm a tech too. glad to see so many people here who know their stuff, and that I'll be able to give/receive help as well
