The website says theyll be available Fall 2004, too bad it'll cost an arm and a leg. It looks awesome though.

the_marq 04-26-2004 05:59 PM

If it's under $5000 I'll be surprised.

feelgood 04-26-2004 08:34 PM

Call me when it has a digital camera built in, native cell phone functionality and costs less than $1500.

I seriously doubt it will be that expensive. I could see $1500, $2000, but not 5.

Lookie....a glorified palm pilot.

I don't see how this will be much use other than for updating contact information.

The keyboard is to small for doing any amount of serious typing.

Cynthetiq 04-27-2004 01:11 PM

this has been vaporware for years... I'm still waiting to see it in a store and for sale.

nash 04-27-2004 01:32 PM

I don't think it'll be very successful... just not powerful enough. Also, the motorcycle guy was typing with gloves on, I don't think that's even close to practical. It looks neat, but it's not something I wouldn't be able to live without.

*salivate salivate lust covet crave*

The docking scene blew my mind. It looks just like when i have my Clie docked...except it isn't docked to the desktop computer...it IS the desktop computer. Bwhahaha.

On the downside, if that wanders away/gets put through wash/gets stolen...you are fucKed with a capital K

i heard this will cost around $2k. i want one so bad!

BigGov 04-27-2004 10:58 PM

I remember seeing it in Stuff magazine, they quoted a price of $1,800.

Hard drives park when freefall is detected. Too bad the screenwill end up looking like fingerpaint on glass.
