Help viewing errounous image file
A while ago I formatted one of my harddrives so I could put it into a computer I was selling. A few days later I realized that all of my pictures I had taken during my deployment to Iraq were on that harddrive and I needed them back. I got a disc recovery tool that helped me retrieve those files, but now some of them seem to be corrupted. Is there any way I can still view these files even with the errors, or are they gone for good? I really want to have them for remembrance and to share with others. Please help!
Also to note: I tried using photoshop, imageready, paint, irfanview, imageviewer, and a few other imaging programs to view it, to no avail. In irfanview it came up with an error saying the header was missing. Hope this info helps.

However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." - V |
