Mac Binary file on a PC
 

In my photo class we use macs, but at home I have a pc. I emailed myself a file and it showed up in my inbox as a mac binary file. I have tried to open this file using photoshop and other programs but it doesnt work. What sort of program do I need to download to open this file.

What kind of file was it when you used it at school? IIRC .bin files on the Mac are usually archives that can be opened with StuffIt Expander: http://www.stuffit.com/

lol thanks :) Sadly I'm not really THAT knowledgable - I just play around a lot. There are plenty of people on this forum with much more comp knowledge than I.
