IE6 & Bitmap Question
Greeting All,
I was just wondering if their is some kind of default built into IE6 that if a jpeg is of a certain size it automatically converts to a bitmap? I tried using another browser (Mozilla) and it saved this series of very large pics in normal in normal jpeg format. (Yes, I cleared my Temporary Internet Files cache and it still wanted to save those pics of bitmaps.) Does anyone know? Thanks

I don't think its a default feature of IE 6...i've seen sometimes that trying to save pics from specific sites turns them into bitmaps (the dreaded "untitled.bmp" phenomenon)...but usually this fixes itself after clearing the cache. How large pictures are we talking about? I think it does 5-10 mb fine; beyond that i'm not sure.
