I deleted some programs thru the add/remove programs, but when i do a adware scan or virus scan the deleted programs still show up as it scans. How come? Where are they on my computer?
Are they not really gone??

They probably left behind some registry keys and other files somewhere. Its pretty common, even with trustworthy software. Spyware authors are tricky bastards, and doing a normal uninstall on them rarely works.

Will adaware not get rid of them?

these progs you use to scan should show you the path i would think?

Try this prog Add and Remove Plus

More of a complete add/remove prog that scans yer registry, cleans up the start menu, and deletes the folder as well.
