What kind of adwares are these?
Ok first up I got this: http://www.spotresults.com/dns.php?u...potresults.com
Every so often a perfectly fine website will load, and immediately I'm sent to spotresults saying it's a bad website yada yada. Search for this bull shit etc. Second I get ads, seemingly exe form, using RunDll32. They pop up, usually for networking and gym memberships. They are like a program, with a little program without an icon specified icon.. Hard to explain. If anyone knows how to get rid of these I'd be appreciative. I've ran spybot and adaware countless times... |

God, I hate those so so so so much. Scum of the earth, bottom of the barrel.
It's in the registry somewhere.. Sorry I can't be of more help, but try searching for spotresults in the registry, just delete the key and it will go back to default. I think.

not sure if this will help but i came across this thread http://computercops.biz/postt30275.html that seems to be the same issue that you are experiencing. They have some suggestions for how to fix it.
I did notice that the thread i just found is almost as new as this thread so it seems to be something new. |
