exporting yahoo mail
Is anyone aware of how you create an export file of your email in yahoo's free email service for import to outlook.
I know that POP access is on a paid for basis, but when i started using Yahoo several years ago, you could still manually export the messages by folder for import into other programs. I suspect yahoo may have long ago rid themselves of this ability, but the scantness of the help files makes finding an answer one way or another very hard

This should help you. Coincidentally I just learned of its existence last night.

Ooooooh.
Both hold promise. YahooPoPs first, as it's gui based and can be set for periodic autodownload without having to create a .bat file. Thank you both for the suggestions
