Hotmail- Saving all my mail?
So I've been fighting my hotmail space limit for about a year now. I'm headed out on a short trip and I know it'l max out while I'm gone. I really would like to start fresh and save all my mails to my hard drive, but the only way I know is to individually title and 'save as' each mail, and I've got four pages worth!
Please tell me that there's a way to massively send all my mail...Maybe I could select it all and just foreward it to a new account for now.But I'd love something more permanent. Thanks for any help guys. -Tim |
outlook or outlook express.
log onto your hotmail account via that, and drag and drop your emails from one folder to an offline one. |
I'm in Outlook Express but can't find an 'offline' folder. Is this titled a 'local' folder?
Thanks -Tim |

So I'm about to do this and I'm a little paranoid. You guys confimed that the 'local' folder is offline, but are you sure that once I copy all my files to my offline folder that I can delete the files 'online' and not lose them?
Thanks ;) -Tim |
Yes.. for sure. Your files are safe. He didn't mean 'the' offline folder, just one of yours. You can create your own even, calling it "hotmail backups" or something.

So I moved everything flawlessly. So now is there an actual folder on my computer that has all the mails as files, or are they stored in Outlook somehow.
Thanks -T |
