PCI-Express
I have heard of the graphics card companies (Nvidia/Ati) having PCI-expres models but does anybody know when they will be out and when motherboards will support this.
I will be building my computer for college around July-very early August so I am hoping it gets out soon. Any word on expected release dates?

My guess would be when the next generation of boards comes out, probably this summer. I suspect Lasereth will have an accurate answer though

I was assuming that when the new socket 939 generation boards come out, PCIE would be ready. Guess not

sailor, you werent the only one i was led to believe it would be in the next mobo release, but I am not in the market for a new computer any time soon, so it was more a passing curiousity than anything else.
