small fm tuner
im looking for a small, very compact fm tuner.
something that just has just a headphone jack, volume slider, and a frequecy changer. i can get some cheap plastic one if i sign up for a credit card, but im lookign for something more reliable, compact. hopefully with a built in battery that is rechargeable somehow. does such a thing exist. net search just gives me listing for keychain based mp3 players with fm tuners. |

My grandfather recently purchased a tiny FM tuner (headphones with volume control andfrequency changer). I don't know how the battery works on his, but he loves it. And coming from a guy that loves his toys, it means a lot. I think that he bought it at WalMart (or Canadian Tire) for cheaper than I thought that he got it for. Anyways, I'll email him and find out where he got it in case you want to check it out.

Try any Best Buy or something like that. There is still a good market for basic, portable FM tuners. If they don't have them, try Sears as they stock a good basic set of portables. I bought one as a gift there just a year ago.
