MS Word (sample fields)
Hopefully I can explain this so it makes sense:
I'm putting together a simple .docfor work in which folks are expected to type in small amounts of information. I have seen in Word docs in the past where surveyers ask a question and expect to receive free text responses. Some questions though really need example answers so users will know what sort of info they should be providing. The examples in these docs generally showed up in a greyed out box, and when the cursor was placed in that space and the as soon user started typing in that field, the "example" information disappeared. Any idea how to actually create those "disappearing" example fields in Word? This is different from using (remarks or comments.) Thanks in advance....hopefully what I am asking makes sense to someone. |
