Internet Explorer Default Mail Client Error
Greetings All,
This problem is brand new, at least for me. I used to be able to click on an email address and my email client (Netscape Communicator) would pop up with the address in the To section. But now, just today, I get a an error stating: default mail client is not properly installed. Everything was fine yesterday but I guess something happened today. What caused this new error and what can I do to correct it? Thanks and cheers.

You can check what IE's using as the mail client by clicking Tools, Internet Options, and clicking on the Programs tab. Make sure Netscape Communicator is listed as the program.
BTW, you didn't install anyhting new, or get any updates via automatic updates?

also, try running netscape communicator on your own, manually and see if it loads up correctly. maybe there was a change in your system that is preventing communicator from running properly
