Tech support job descriptions
I need a favor from anyone who does tech support professionally. My supervisor is re-writing our job description since it is VERY out-dated. It still includes running the mainframe as part of our duties. We trashed the mainframe in 1998.
Could you please list your title and some examples of your duties as stated in your official job description? I know that what your description is and what you actually do are completely different things. If you do not feel like listing them here, feel free to PM me. And again, I want official descriptions. We are trying to give him ideas as to the proper wording of what we do. (I think it is cool that he is allowing us to have some input). I'm just curious as to what your descritptions say as a way to compare and contrast. Thank you in advance, The God of Thunder
