Castle Wolfenstein Problems - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Greetings All,
My little brother is borrowing my copy of Castle Wolfenstein but he can't install it. Everytime he clicks on the install button his computer freezes and locks up. I have no idea why as that never happened on my rig. I think he has a AMD 2600, a gig of RAM, a nVidia 5200 and Windows XP. What could be cauing these mysterious lockups? Thanks in advance for any ideas, hints or suggestions. Cheers

Has he run Windows Update? IF not, tell him to do that and get all the updates.

That's just a general suggestion. I don't have any experience w/ the game so I can't give you any specific solutions, sorry.

Do you have it installed yourself still? If so take the easy way and zip up your install and burn it to disc. He unpacks it to a dir on his PC and he can play it no problem. This works with all id engine games.
