Pretty Good Mem Stick Deal

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...606115-7918227

32 MBs is small by today's standards but for 2 bucks it is still a good deal. I ordered mine with a new keyboard for the GF to get free shipping.

That's not a memory stick. That's a USB mini disk. Kinda like a floppy disk, yet 25 times bigger, and it plugs into your USB slot.

I just call them pen drives.

I have a 64mb one I got with the laptop, and its a nice little piece, but I could never justify buying anything with more than 128mb capacity tops, regardless of its size. I paid about $120 for my Iomega 80gb USB hard drive, which came with a copy of Norton Ghost/Security, and Iomega's backup software. And there's plenty of room in my backpack for one.

Ah, USB keys. We live off of those things at the tech support center at my university. Everything from virus tools to adaware to clients' rescued data goes on those things. A wonderful invention they are.

Sandboxing stuff owns. I think a sandbox version of ICQ, AIM, or trillian will fit onto this.

i actually had two thoughts go through my head. A stick of ram (since they are called sticks, and the forum I am in) and the Sony Memory Stick.

I have to agree, the title is a bit confusing, but no biggie. Darn you, Sony, for using such a generic term!

$21 is a bit much for 32mb...

Best Buy and CompUSA have the Cruzen Mini on sale for a little more than that (and it's 128mb)...
