unburnable cd

Hi, I'm not sure if i'm allowed to discuss this here so please tell me if I can't.

I just got my friend's Twista - Kamikaze music CD and I wanted to copy it. It doesn't work... I've tried ripping it into mp3's then burning with winamp, no good; using CloneCD... no good; Easy CD Creator copy, nope. Can anyone with experience please tell me what I should do (other than go out and buy it which I might)?
Thank you so much!

If you know anyone with a Mac, try that. Many of the CD protection methods are designed with the Windows operating system in mind, and the Mac completely ignores them.

Or, rather than spending 5 hours trying to copy a disk, go buy it.

Nero > Roxio.

Unfortunately I've no evidence, it's just 'general knowledge' amongst the people I've known. I've never and will never install EZCD

I have actually used EZ CD. It's not that bad, but Nero is much better. It has more (expert) features, and is generally accepted as one of the best burn programs around.

If I recall correctly, EZ CD has a bad reputation thanks to a certain version destroying any Windows XP OS it was installed on. This problem has been fixed, but nobody seems to care anymore.

I actually prefer EZCD 5 Platinum to Nero 6. I have never burned a coaster with EZCD, but have ended up doing so with Nero, mostly because it has all these weird settings I know fuck all about.

You can get a demo.

For copying discs I always use CloneCD, if that's not working try Alcohol 120%.

gonna have to go with alcohol 120% for copying cd's. Hands down the best prgram out there, and the virtual drive feature is alot of fun if you have a big hard drive.
