Sprint reserves rge right to deny or to terminate service without notice for any misuse..."

Yes, sprint does monitor their network usage...just a note for anyone who uses their cell as a modem

Their logs consist of:
When you connect
How long youre connected for
how many Bytes were sent and recieved

They refused to comment on whether they log where the data was being sent.

That's funny, when I signed up for my PCS account about a year ago, they were trying to pressure me into buying a cable and software so I could *use my phone as a modem* I'm glad I didn't fork out the $$ for it. I can't wait until my 1 year agreement is over, I'm sick of Sprint's shit. I've heard of ways to get around being monitored, but I'm not sure how legal they are.

Wait a minute. They give you a phone that can be used as a modem, then tell you not to use it as a modem? WTF!

I would cancel my sprint plan if I hadn't renued it back in November. I have a wireless enabled PDA, and virtually every other carrier has some phone/plan combo that would enable me to use the PDA to access the internet, except for sprint, who even when they have a capable phone, say that you can't pass the data stream to another device.

As it is, I'm still using a dinky little greyscale phone and a $30/month plan which they don't even offer anymore. I couldn't get new phone for my plan if I wanted to anyway...good luck finding a decent phone for sprint that isn't grey, flip, vision-enabled, and with a camera. I think there's all of...oh...two, last I checked.

i actully asked the sprint huy why this option is enabled if we're not allowed to use it and he said because it use to be allowed...which is a pretty fucking retarded answer

i think it translates to: "because we make money from not telling people this valuable information"
