Invalid syntax error??
 
When I cut and paste a link to my IE Browser it says page not available or Syntax error.....WTF!

Never had this problem before.

Can anyone clue me in...anyone...anyone..Bueller??

It could have to do with the way they decided to patch the url spoofing vulnerability.

I'd try google.

If you haven't patched your OS recently, kindly disregard this advice :)

Thanks for the help in understanding what was going on.

Found a file to fix Microsofts patch that had my browser acting that way.

You need to change your Windows Registry files.

Here is the fix:



[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME_PASSWORD_DISABLE]
"iexplore.exe"=dword:00000000
"explorer.exe"=dword:00000000
