Need help writing a script
Currently for work we have the need to write a simple script so whenever a disc is inserted into a CD/DVD Rom drive the contents (all multimedia basied) are copied to one of four HDDs. There is no rhyme or reason to which drives these need to go to but due to the ammount of storage space required I can't have it be just one. The only programing experince I have is HTML, so I was thinking we would just hire out. All of the local programers are booked beyond the time line that we need to get this thing done by. This falls back on me, can I do it? This system will be running Windows XP Pro or Win 2000 on a intel board (7501 chipset) with Intel dual 3.06 Xeons processors.
Is this possible? Anyone have any good sites that I can referance? Or hell, does anyone want to do it - we pay well Thanks for the help and suggestions!

i sense autorun might be your friend here. would it be feasible to include the program on all the cds? probably not. you would want to have a systray program or perhaps a service that monitors the label of the cd-drive for changes, and then query’s for free space and deposits the contents accordingly.
