problem with sound/music :(
when i listen to music, it skips about a second randomly during songs. this happens about 2-10 times per song.
the problem started about a month ago and i dont remember changing anything about my computer when it started Windows XP Logitech z640 speakers some crappy soundcard ive been using for about 2 years (could this be it?) athlon xp cpu please help! |

I'd get a new soundblaster or something (you can get them for a little over 20 bucks nowadays, or cheaper if you care to make the Pricewatch dare). Time for an upgrade anyway
reinstall your drivers (if you ever even installed any) that's all I got

wat else is ur comp doing except for playing music? it could just be running out of processing power...
ctrl+alt+del and check out ur processes and how much cpu% ur using
