Why does thi sseem so hard?
Afternoon all,
Say that I want to save a string of images, and I really don't feel like doing a "save image as" for each damn image? This seems so easy, seeing as though all the images have been downloaded onto the computer, should you be able to highlight all the images and tell your browser to "Save All"?? Frustrated, -SF |

If your wanting to save images from a webpage, then theres two easy options. When using Internet Explorer, go to the page with the images. Click File, then Save As, then save it to where you want to. The only problem is, you'll get the Html file, and any other pictures/scripts that are embedded in the page, but you can just delete the files aftetwards. Cumbersome, but effective. Second is, Download Flashget (or similar, but I use flashget because its familiar to me). With flashget, you can just right click on one of the pictures on the page, then select 'Download all using flashget'. This will also download all of the stuff off the webpages, but you have the benefit of being able to resume it later. Hope that helps!

It's simple..... download EZpic's,
http://ezpics.kingbastard.com/ All you do is right click the first pic in the set you want to save, then copy the url.... then open EZpics and click EZ coder..... then paste the url in the first line of the box, then paste the url in the second box...... change the number of the second url to the number of the last pic in the set you want to save and then click Generate. close the url box and click EZ..... Ta Da! EZpic's will download the whole set to 'Your Documents'.... just go to 'Your Documents' and double click the folder and there are all the pic's |

When on the page use File-->Save As and save the entire webpage. You'll have some stuff besides for what you wanted but you can delete those things afterwards.

When looking at your folder full of pics, click on view (up top), choose "list". Now they are just file names. Point your mouse at the first one and it will highlight, dont click, then hold the shift button while you mouse to the last file. All the files in between should be highlighted and you can save all, delete all, whatever you want to do all. I hope that helps. |

If you run Linux, I've been working on a script that will do this. Still working out some kinks.
When I release it, the way it works is you just copy the address of that forum post. And then give it a folder name you want to drop the pics in. Example: Code:
# grab_pics "http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4577" hotpics_omg"
