I need a case CHEAP!
Anyone know where I can get the cheapest cases possible? Tomorrow I am hitting up all the little PC stores in the area that I live. Mabey they have one laying around that I can get for free.
Can someone suggest a place to get a cheap case? It dosent need to be fancy, if I feel creative I can cut a pretty design in the side and plexyglass it up. I need to cheapest ATX case I can find. |

Most mom and pop computer stores carry cheapie cases. Grab whatever for ~$20-50. You could also look around town for second hand computer stores and the like. |
Check out pricewatch.com .... just as an example of the possibilities...

There ya go, shows a good selection of everything in the midtower/atx range. Some good looking, affordable cases there. |
directron has some good deals, I also found some good cases on newegg for dirt cheap. I just bought this case for $40 bucks, and I'm impressed with the product I got for that price.
Newegg also has a lot of nice cheap cases that also come with power supplies, just browse through their ATX category going from lowest to highest price, i'm sure you'll find something you'll like. http://www.newegg.com/app/Viewproduc...tion=&srchFor= |
Newegg has a bunch of cases for below 30 bucks. Some are pretty snazzy.

You could try ebay as well. I just took a quick look and although a lot of the cases are expensive, there are some "dirt cheap" ones for prices like $2 (ending in 2-3 hours). Downside is though - shipping is often expensive on ebay ;)

<a href="http://www.colorcases.com">colorcases.com</a> - some for less than $20.

I got excited when I first looked on ebay, but its no wonder they can sell cases for 5 dollars.... beacuse shipping is gonna cost anywhere from $22 to $50.

I bought my case on NewEgg for $19.99 with a 400w SHITMAX PSU. It's incredibly light, so the shipping wasn't that much at all. I think it was like $10. Not bad if ya ask me!
I'd try out Directron and NewEgg. If you use Pricewatch, check the company on www.resellerratings.com . -Lasereth |
