You can set your indivigual programs to always list your favorite fonts at the top of the list.
I have verdana pinned to the top of my list in Dreamweaver and Word. I also have Blueprint and Country Blueprint (AutoCadd) at the top of my list in design programs. There are settings in neraly every program that calls on fonts that allow you to keep handy the fonts you feel you use most often.

ps. I'm on a mad search for the font "minion". hint hint saltfish.

Hehe. That's what i was trying to avoid. thank you for the link though. I've got a good library of fonts as a designer, but can't justify 22.00 for the one project it's needed for. I was hoping SF was perhaps interested in a trade. (after all, commercially trading IT property you have purchased the rights for is legal as long as it is not used in a subsequent commercial venture). Since i wanted it as part of a love letter i'm writting, I'd hardly call it a commercial venture.

Try this: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html. It's free and works well. Although no longer developed, it works fine under 2000 and XP.
