PSP8 Tutorials? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

So, I just got psp8 for free (friend handed it off to me since he got the new PS), and I find it very hard finding tutorials for the prog. I've never used a image editing prog, but I'd like to, as I'm slowly learning webdesign. While googling for psp8 tutorials, I normally wind up with guide on creating obsure effects like candle flames, or horridly designed backgrounds or something. I'm looking for tutorials on how to get acustomed with the program, what all the tools do/how to use them, and eventually a few nice techniques.

A Google search should set you in the right direction. I can't recommend any specific sites.

Personally, I would consider a hands-on class at the local community college or evening adult classes at the local high school (both are inexpensive).

I watched a video tutorial from DVD and got waaaay more out of it than reading a book (the book I never finished because it was too time consuming and tedious). I learned more in 4 hours from the DVD than a book could ever have done.
