Been awhile since I used linux but I don't think that's possible. However, it is possible for Linux to access Windows' files.

You didn't indicate if these are separate computers or the same computer.

Sure it is possible, assuming you're talking about different computers.

Set up Samba on the Linux computer and export a file share - then in the Windows computer, browse to the Linux machine just like it was a Windows computer.

OR you could even just set up an FTP on the Linux computer. Depending on what exactly you're trying to do with it.

Yep, either one will work. The FTP will probably be easier to get running the first time around, but SMB (samba) is what you are really thinking about, and will work the best.

A third option would be ssh. Get WinSCP3 for the Windows client. SSH is standard on about every Linux distro now.

ssh is a secure replacement for telnet. scp is a compoent that comes with it that can do secure file transfers over the connection.

WinSCP is a really cool SCP client for Windows.

Yeah, WinSCP is a great program. I use it all the time to transfer files to and from my linux boxen. Putty is another great one--it is a windows SSH client.
