Anyone done it?

Have any experience with OpenSource or free tools?

I am looking at one called TestMaker.
It is Java based and has it's own scripting language kinda Python, kinda Java. It does have a tool that lets you record a session from a browser and edit it, but that feature does not work with HTTPS.

I need to test a HTTPS connection and hit it with at least 150 sessions.

Suggestions are welcome

You could use something like wget, then diff the output to make sure that it was as expected.

If you have Visual Studio.NET, look at Application Center Test. It supports scripts that pound the hell out of a web server.

We tried wget last night, but we need to login to the application.

I forgot about Application Center Test. I'll go look at that again.
