The guy who was programming stuff for keyboards made a Ctrl Alt Delete short cut to make restarting the comp faster, and he said he didn't want to take all the credit, Of course he made it, but Bill made it famous. :lol:

Just something we using in development, it wouldn’t be available elsewhere, but then the pubs people found out about it and they’re trying to figure out how to tell somebody how to start up one of their programs and they had the answer ‘just put the diskette in, hit CTRL ALT DEL’ and by magic your program started. So, it was like a 5 minute job and when I was doing it I didn’t realize I was going to create a cultural icon when I did it.

That's so wonderful. Bill Gates is actually one of the most hardcore nerds on the planet (read about his younger days), and you know he agrees completly with that guy, you can see it in his face, he still believes in the laws of the old guard of nerds, and he hates that he's gone against it, all for one hundred billion silver pieces, so to speak. Man, Bill Gates would make a good character in a drama.
