Keyboard Recording
me and a friend was talking the other night and he was asking me about some kind of software that he could install on his daughter's computer to see who she was chatting with. he's afraid she maybe talking to a "online predator" and was freakin out. so i did some google'ing and found this site blazing tools. i downloaded their trail version and it does everything he wanted [text recording, websites, even screenshots].
i was just wondering if anyone has tried this kind of software or could recommend a good one? thanks |

I used to use i0pus's STARR, it worked pretty good. Theres a new version out, but I havent had a reason to use it (don't have to worry about little bro using my comp and finding my porn)

Keyboard recording probably isn't the most effective way to find out, since you won't get what the other person says, and may get lots of irrelevant data.
I'd install a network packet sniffer instead...

Yeah, a keystroke logger will tell you what SHE is saying, but you wont find much else from it...
Personally, I think a lot of monitoring software is useless. Ive been around it (schools, parents tried it once), and every time, it was incredibly easy to get around.
