Mac home networking question
I know this will sound so utterly simple as to be sad to some of you, but I need to ask anyway, so here it goes.
My wife has an IBook. We like it so much that I'm going to get an Apple desktop. We're also finally going to take the plunge and get satellite Internet service (no cable or DSL here; don't even ask). I want to make sure I get the right components. As I envision this system, I will want to put the Airport base downstairs where the satellite cable from the dish enters. Then buy wireless cards for the laptop and the desktop. Is that correct? As an aside, anybody currently using Direcway satellite service? Like it? Thanks all. |

dslreports.com has reviews of all broadband companies, not just dsl. It's a sound place to look for customer opinion. Just remember the grain of salt that complainers will always post more often than happy customers
