PowerDVD4 ir WinDVD4?
I've got an older copy of PowerDVD xp4.0 and a copy of WinDVD4 just came with my new MSI motherboard. I really don't watch dvd's all that often but definitely don't want to load both of these softwares. Any comments?
Thanks -T

I am not sure if you are running Windows but if you are newer versions of windows media player will play DVd's and then you don't need any software.
I personally use Win DVD but I never tried the Power DVD. Could one really be that much better than the other? |

Great guys. As long as there isn't any huge difference I think I'll be just fine.
Thanks -T

There is a huge difference, but I'm not sure if you'll care.
PowerDVD 4 has a built-in surround decoder, while WinDVD doesn't. This mattered a lot for me because my soundcard doesn't have a builtin decoder like many consumer cards do. MPEDrummer
