thermal plotter
how good do they work? i have a small thermal printer but anything it prints is realy blocky and does not realy work good. Also can they print on transparency film? Im looking into buying one to make overlays for a digital compairer. Id rather have that than a inkjet because the inkjet transparency film dont work very well. And i cant find any laserjet plotters.
if anyone has any experiance in thermal plotters let me know.

Oce makes both thermal and laser plotters. I assume we're both talking about architectual/large format plotting here.

Yes....ive been looken for someting to print on transparency film. Does anyone know if you can buy 19X26 transparency film for laser jet printer? i cant find any place but maybe there is a custom place out there. Also im still wondering if thermal plotters are accurate and good for printing on transparency film.
