Why is my mouse insane?
I have a USB logitec ifeel mouse. (I don't use the ifeel part, never understood the point to it, exactly.)
It's an optical mouse, and the LED changes to its high intensity brightness level when it's being moved, then it changes to low power. Right. Thing, is the mouse is insane. My computer is in the bedroom, and the mouse goes nuts. The LED flashes up, down, up, up, down, etc. It goes in spurts, and if I move the mouse, it seems to stop for a long while. I have to turn my monitor off, 'cause it never stays asleep for very long with an insane mouse. That particular event scared the living shit out of me the night my wife and I went to see the Ring. We come home, go to bed after a while, room is dark... the monitor clicks on. Yeah, that was not funny. Sure enough, the mouse was doing its insane thing, no girl crawled out. But still, not funny. Anyone else's mouse insane? |
That used to happen to me until I changed the surface the mouse was on. The sensor goes crazy whenever it's on a glossy surface.

Try another mouse as well to make sure it is that one wacked out mouse causing the problems.
