>.< Why can't I see any pictures
I use Internet Explorer and somehow all of a sudden the GIFs don't show up anymore on any link. On my internet options it says show pictures though so I don't know what could be the problem. It might also help if I state I just installed a Windows Update today. Any solutions?

I would try unistalling IE to the previous version, and then reinstalling IE6, that might work.

That said, if you feel like getting away from IE, look at Mozilla Firebird (www.mozilla.org). Propaganda, try rolling back the update and see if that fixes it. If it does, then we know what caused it and can go from there. |
Wow... this is really weird its starting to seem like a conspiracy against me. I downloaded Mozilla 1.5 and went to yahoo.com and I still couldn't see the GIFs there. Also how would I go about rolling back the update other them system restore since system restore doesn't seem to restore for me.

Are you on dialup? Are you or your ISP using any sort of download accelerater? Those work by messing about with images and such.

A friend of mine just had this problem, and it turned out to be Zone Alarm.

I'm using comcast and I do use FlashGet but I've had it since the second day I had this PC so I doubt it could be that. I also do not have Zone Alarm but I have Norton Internet Security and google toolbar if that might be useful.

You can usually uninstall an update through control panel >> add/remove programs.
Also, try removing or disabling Norton IS and the google toolbar. Since Mozilla doesnt render them either, it is not the browser, it is something on the computer preventing the images from being either downloaded or displayed. |

Propaganda, I've had the same problem recently. I can agree with the posts above, it most definitely has something to do with Zone Alarm. I use IE v.6 and after installing ZA I noticed images failing to load. Hmmmmmmm....
