i was actually just wondering if you could pretend to be homeschooled and receive the Apple education discount w/o having to provide any documents.

that link leads you to the "Homeschool Store", where iBooks are 100 bucks less, iPods are 30 bucks less, and so on.

Could you just lie and get yourself a nice discount? Has anyone done it? Thanks

lying would be called fraud boys, and it's illegal. Apple offers discounts for students, government, and developers. if you're not one of them, pay your full price, please. We're better than that.
