Bin file without a cue file

I have this svcd clip that i got and lord knows why it is in .bin format.

i need a cue file to tell me how to burn the thing, but it is missing and it cannot be found anywhere.

is there any way that i can make my own cue file for a svcd?

i've looked at some other cue files for svcd's and they seem to have timing info on them.

is it possible to accurately make a cue file?

i have winiso, so i can extract w/o mpeg2 frames and watch them on the pc, but i would rather watch 'em on the dvd player.

if you tell us what the file is and where you got it, perhaps someone of us can help you locate the cue file.

other than that, I cant help you.

Just grab WIN ISO it allows you to read the BIN without the CUE, then export all of it to your HDD and burn it manually, or if you want, you can recreate the Bin / Cue yourself from the origional data.

i always just rename the bin to an iso and burn it , its never not worked. i guess movie cue files might have extra info on chapters etc.

VLC from www.videolan.org can read .bin files directly, without a cuesheet and without having to burn it...I once had an app that would create a .cue file from a .bin, but i haven't used it in ages, pm me if you're still not having any luck and i'll try to hunt it down

i have nero 6 installed, but it cant burn it correctly. i've had this problem before, and if i just burn with the default settings, it will skip the first few minutes or so.

here is a sample svcd cue file

Quote:
FILE "videonamehere.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 00 00:04:00
INDEX 01 00:06:00
INDEX 02 00:06:01
INDEX 03 02:39:59
INDEX 04 10:04:19
INDEX 05 14:25:16
INDEX 06 21:24:49
INDEX 07 32:52:14
INDEX 08 40:46:28
INDEX 09 55:50:00
INDEX 10 77:19:63
the index stuff is what screws up the default burning.

i'm going to try the video lan player now.

Sometimes cue files contain extra info about where to place tracks, etc, but if you don't mind not having that on the disc then I've never had a problem burning a bin file without the cue. Nero 6 should be able to do it.
