My photoshop is dead!
 

My Adobe Photoshop 7.0, the essential element of my life, no longer works on my computer. After going through all that loading and scanning for presets stuff, the program simply disappears. The process is not even in the Task Manager. Are there programs out there that are known for corrupting the Photoshop program? Thanks for your help in bringing my dear Photoshop back!

Oh yea.. my Photoshop is an academic version that I bought legally for $300.

the only time i've had this was when photoshop wasnt installed properly, the config and registration was missing

i'm not a techy kinda person, but the first thing my husband always tells me when weird things happen on my computer is to simply <b>restart</b> my computer. most often that really does tend to do the trick for me...

outside of that... there's reinstalling photoshop &/or possibly your OS... but i'm guessing here.
