I found it last year, it is the only thing that will bypass the dorms firewalls. Needless to say that and BT are the only programs I use for filesharing now.

I dont think there are any dangers to using it on your PC. I have been using it on this computer for awhile, but always have a virus protection program just incase no matter what.

I've been using Ares Lite for awhile now and like it. Easy to use, no mislabled songs, and pretty quick. However, upon opening the program, it only recognizes files you have paused if that particular folder is currently the one selected as the destination download folder. I do a lot of folder changing for videos and music so it gets a little annoying, but it is overall a solid program.
