cannot find dispdib.dll

I've just installed an old "learning disc" about military weapons called Da Vinci's Machines : Military Machines Vol 2. After I do a complete install and try to run the exe, i get 2 popups, one saying Cant find dispdib.dll, the next Cannot load dwmplay.dll. I tried doing a search of this company, maybe find the missing file, but nothing. I just think its an obscure gaming company that went under. FOr the record, they are called Microforum.

I'm not going to give my specs because I am WAY over the recommended. I am however, running Win XP Home Edition, and this is a Win 95 game.....not sure if that means anything.

Please help

edit : The company website www.microforum.com, listed in the manual, leads to some investment business, nothing to do with gaming.

This is usually what's called "abandonware". There's no support for the company - they most likely went out of business.

Here is dispdib.dll - http://nuts4asp.com/dllaj/DISPDIB.DLL

Can't find dwmplay.dll anywhere.

well technically you aren't way over the recommendations or the requirements, since you aren't running a windows 9X OS, i doubt you'd get those particular dlls working under NT, dual boot 95 or use virtual pc.

Oh. Sorry. The DLL file either goes a) in the root directory where the game is installed, or in c:\windows. To be sure, stick it in c:\windows, c:\windows\system, and c:\windows\system32. it won't hurt to put it in all three locations.
