best host and registrar?
Looking at launching a personal website in the next few days to showcase my work as a designer and programmer.
Looking for suggestings as to hosting and domain registration companies. What have been your best experiences? Money is a big issue -- I don't need a $100/month host as my traffic will probably be quite light.

My experiences:
Registration Company: www.godaddy.com Currently own 2 domains through them, never had a issue yet. each cost me 9$ a year (w/10$ privacy proxy on each; also yearly) Been with them for a year now. Host: www.anhosts.com 10$ a month Been with them for a year now. Currently I am running a fairly active forum (200 users, 130 or so active) , Image gallery, and 4 subdomains hosting accounts. Never ONCE had any down time. Extreemly fast servers (300kB/s easily) 1000 Meg space, 50+Gig bandwidth, Email Accounts - unlimited FTP Accounts - 5 , Subdomains(current month) - unlimited ,MySQL Databases - 5 Whenever I have a question thier techsupport has a answer within the hour, and have so far been helpfull every time I've needed help. (3 times) As long as you dont abuse thier services (like many have on some review sites) you will not have a issue with them. But that goes for any hosting out there, abuse them and you'll be burned.
