Fun with Base 10 URLs
or...
why should should help ppl in tech. I was looking up info on how to beat websense for soccerchamp and found out about Base 10 URLs. They are basically URLs reduced to a decimal value, but it's a bit more complicated than that really. Info is here. Some demo URLs. I swear under threat of ban all of these are tech links and not tricks. Goatse doesn't work with this trick, since the site has a virtual host, so rest easy.It doesn't work in all sites, only sites that resolve to an IP directly and not a vhost. Also, some of you for whatever reason will not get these to work, as I learned in another thread at another forum I did. They work in both browsers for me (IE and Firebird). http://3645105773 http://3631096886/ http://1072450000 |

that was in 2600 quite a while ago when you could use it to beat firewalls that block sites based on their domain name and ip address...it included a short c program that looked up a name and converted it.

WinXP Corp + Firebird not working, though I seem to have Google doing my resolving for me so that's probably why
