I bought my PC about a year and a half ago so it's nothing special:

I'm proud of the window; me and my brother modded it ourselves. I think it looks decent for a custom-job!

Devnull: my brother bought that exact same case from Xoxide. Fun to put together, eh? He has blue and red LED fans in it and 5 HDDs.

My brother has that same case, and his cost about $70 USD. They're not as expensive as they look. I assume Devnull has the same one. Me and my brother know how to put together a computer, but it took us six hours to get that one together (it's not really a case, but simply sheets of clear acrylic casing that must be screwed together). The hard drives were the worst to put in, but it was worth it. Take a look at Devnulls! My brother's is exactly like that but with red and blue LED fans and different components.

Well, I dont have a digital camera here at school, but I have two machines under my desk hooked up to a KVM with a 15" LCD, and a laptop on the side.

When I go home for Christmas break Ill post some of the machines there. Nothing pretty, but a lot of them. I aim to give flamingpeach a run for her money

There's my computer. Same case as the first one I believe. It took forever to transport the parts from my old case to the new one. Sorry the pics are so crappy, but we are working with an ancient webcam here. You can see my nice line of hard drives going on in there if you look hard enough. 2 X 160 GB, 1 X 120 GB, 1 X 80 GB, 1 X 20 GB.

I bought it along with the fans, clear IDE cables, window decal and a few other accessories for about $130 total. This was maybe... I wanna say back in January 2003, so almost a year ago now. I'm sure the prices have gone down some.

Yeah, putting this thing together was a pain in my geeky ass. Took about 6 hours of work to both unassemble my old computer and put together this case. Like Lasereth said, it's all just sheets of acrylic, with a bunch of screws to put this together. Adding and removing harddrives is an absolute bitch too unfortunately. The motherboard is attached to the side of the case, the side of the case that has to come OFF to put up the HD mounts to hold them in place. This means taking out all PCI/AGP cards along with unplugging a lot of the stuff from the back just to put a HD in. So a typical 5 minute operation has now turned into about 25-30 minutes. But! In the end , its allll worth it.

Very nice systems everyone. Ive never bought a computer with a window, or a cool case mod. Never seemed to have the capital to warrent one. Maybe one day. A pic of mine would be pretty boring.. Three systems side by side, grey, nondescript.. Maybe I'll add stickers

Here's the actual powerhorse. Safely tugged away in a completelly different room. The door closes and it's completelly silent. (And I don't have to compromise in the cooling efficency nor build expensive water systems).

Some pretty geeky shots here, guys.

I need to take some photos of my setup. But it's not really aesthetically pleasing... more like functionally.

Plus, I'm just too damn lazy to bother making them look good... I'd rather spend my money on making them DO something... like my 4U console server, my 1U gateway, 4U file server, 2U SPARC, etc. etc.

Oh, and ONE 24" monitor is enough monitor for me.

These are a bit outdated, has more lights now, more hdds, more round cables, and a 480watt TrueBlue powersupply.

Has matching black wireless mouse, keyboard, headphones and printer.

Only thing left to color code is the monitor and speakers.

Don't ruin the fantasy peach. We all wanna believe they are yours. In our mind you're a hot looking chick with a dozen PCs.

Cute and geeky, what more could we ask for? Tell us that you write code and you'll get a thousand proposals by the end of the day.

OK, so I can see why that would be a bad thing for you, but let us have the fantasy.

Yeah, thats pretty much all we use at home. There are 6 or 7 (not sure, havent been home in a month or so) that sit around the house and get used quite frequently. Its great--you can be sitting in the den or kitchen, posting to TFP. Gotta love wireless Ill try to post some pics when I get home for break.

The things you do when you get bored... So I finally got around to taking pictures of all the computers I have here at home. My two machines are at school, and I dont have a camera there, so...

Here are the downstairs laptops. Also our new PDA, one of the Compaq/HP iPaqs. Fun little toy.

My dads work machine. Its a tablet, although it never gets used in that configuration. His Blackberry is on the left.

The main computer room.

One of the main machines.

The other main machine.

The monitor, KVM, and WAPs in the top right.,

My most recent project. It will eventually be a PVR once I get it all running.

Router, switch, power, VPN.

My desk. When my machines are at home, my main machine is hooked up to the two monitors. I miss my dualies The laptop is my school laptop--its a lot easier to bring home than my desktop machines.

My webserver. Running RedHat 8.0. It serves my webpage and these pictures you are looking at now. Going on four months without a reboot! Seeing as I dont have a UPS, that is a most lucky occurance. Also note that it is *literally* held together with tape. Im quite proud of that.

My brothers desk.

One of the upstairs laptops, with the old iPaq on it. There are two more of these laptops, but I didnt want to tear the house apart to find them. Both of my younger brothers leave these in their rooms, so they frequently get misplaced (read: covered up with clothes or toys depending on the brother).

There are a couple other old machines, but I dont think anyone wants to see pictures of old machines in a corner.

Many of you have multiple computers but your actual desk space is minimal. How can you actually do any work without a flat space? You know, like sorting through bills, etc.
