MS Word
All the sudden today my Microsoft Word 2002 starts to act up. It no longers catches the spelling errors as I type and I can no longer use the thesaurus quick keys. I tried to uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. It still does the exact same thing. I try making intentional and outlandish errors for the checker to catch but when I select the spell checker it doesn't catch the errors. I need a spell checker as I am a horrible speller. What gives? Is there anything else I can do? Hints, suggestions, tips, etc. This couldn't happen at a worse at the end of a semester when all I am doing is writing papers. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have Word 2002 and if you look at the top of the page you will see to two little AA's in italics. That tell's you what style and format you are using. I have no idea how but for some reason my style got shifted from "Normal" to "HTML Cite + Italics." Appparently, the spell/grammar check doesn't work in HTML so I simply deleted the HTML Cite + Italics format from my paper. Everything went back to normal. I took me some time to realize what was going on. I freaked out and downloaded OpenOffice which I am just beginning to explore but thus far I would have to give it a thumbs up. So that's what I did.
Lasereth, what happened to your avatar. I always thought it was kind've cool. And ditto concerning crackprogram
