bus master
I updated my bios and it put in on/off selection for bus master should it be on or off?

the master bus should be turned on. If its what im thinking of, it controls your IDE controllers.
failing that, just leave it to bios defaults. |
thank you I turned it on. I think it"s a little faster moving files from one drive to another

bus mastering allows the hard drives to move data around to other devices without the cpu being involved as much, so its faster, so usually you want it on.
